The health and safety of those we serve is a top priority at HeartCert. There are many recommendations which we have outlined on a previous blog post here containing just some of the things we are doing to continue offering this necessary service during these difficult times.
ACLS, PALS, BLS and CPR/First Aid training qualifies as an essential service that many need for hiring and retaining employment in essential fields. The American Heart Association, American Red Cross, along with the CDC have given course recommendations to attempt to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus within classes which are being strictly adhered to for your safety. Please see our blog here for further details. Because this is such an essential and vital service for healthcare, childcare, law enforcement, EMS and many other agencies we are proud to continue offering you a variety of services to serve your needs, safely.
The American Red Cross recently created a convenient, safe, solution to continue aiding those needing CPR certification during the Covid-19 epidemic, the provisional certification.
What is a provisional CPR certification? This a valid certificate of completion from the American Red Cross that is valid for 90 days after completing a comprehensive, all online course. The certificate remains valid and converts to an official, 2 year certification contingent upon passing a short in-person skill session, no more than 2 hours in length within the 90 days. This helps to limit in-person class-time for at risk individuals and allows for quick certification for essential workers during any stay at home orders.
If you are interested in obtaining a 90-day provisional CPR certificate that can be completed completely online simply contact our office and we will provide a link and further information. OR SIGN UP HERE directly!
Thank you everyone for all you do, the essential workers needing the certification are vital to our communities and we are proud to offer a variety of options to these individuals.
