Description: The American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course provides training for healthcare professionals responding to respiratory and cardiovascular emergencies in infants and children.
Duration: 1 full day (classroom courses), ~ 3hrs for blended learning – Red Cross certification.
Intended Audience: Anyone in the healthcare field needing PALS certification. Please check with your employer prior to registration.
Pre-Requisites: Students must have a working knowledge of cardiac rhythm interpretation, intubation/IV techniques, and advanced cardiac skills as it relates to the pediatric patient.
Certification: This course can be taken either in a traditional classroom setting, a blended learning setting (with some online coursework required prior to an in-person skill session), or on-site at your location by selecting the tabs below. The exact same 2-year American Red Cross certification card is administered for each type of session. Red Cross is equivalent to that of the American Heart Association and accepted by employers.
